1. The Korean government welcomes the launching of an interim Government of National Unity (GNU) in Libya on March 15 following the approval by the House of Representatives.

2. The Korean government expects that the GNU will make utmost efforts to prepare for the presidential and parliamentary elections scheduled to be held on December 24, 2021, contributing to peace and stability in Libya.
